Bragg issued a statement via Twitter at 7.15pm Thursday.
Alvin Bragg's office asked to arrest Trump Friday but his team said the Secret Service needed more time to prepare, reports Politico. He is now expected to be arrested early next week.

'Mr. Trump is subject to the same laws as every American,' he wrote in a statement.
'He will be able to avail himself of the legal system and a jury, not politics, to determine his fate according to the facts and the law.
'There should be no outside political influence, intimidation or interference in the case.
'I encourage both Mr. Trump’s critics and supporters to let the process proceed peacefully and according to the law.'
It was under seal. That hearkens us to some Q drops.
Oh, the irony.
Chucky - “’There should be no outside political influence, intimidation or interference in the case. ‘”
how DARE he!!!!!
Further, Shmucky feels that Trump also needs to be subjected to made up legal concepts based on the persecutor violating the Statute of Limitations on a misdemeanor bootstrapped to a non-existent Federal felony that he has no authority to pursue. So, Trump is indeed being subjected to made-up laws no one has ever heard of before. Bragg is certainly loyal to Soros.
