...but a lot of the mistakes I see are auto correct, with spelling errors anyway. The computer is not always smarter than the person. The computer has no idea what the content of a post is. It checks spelling. And it is good at it. Auto-correct is also dumb to what your meaning is.
The real problem is proofreading. People don't want to take the few seconds it takes. Then blame auto-correct.

A lot of modern browsers check spelling and grammar. Some even attempt to complete your sentences. If a person doesn’t know what is correct and what is not, they might trust the computer. Computers are not perfect.
If people with old eyes post from a cell phone, mistakes are made because the keys are close, and the screen is small.
Not everybody had a top-notch education.
I’m not calling anybody out for a misspelled word or a grammar mistake. As long as I can figure out what they mean, I’m good.
