I fear that government goons will panic at the size of the angry crowds and someone will fire a shot. A similar incident, referred to as the Boston Massacre, was one of the sparks that started the first American Revolution. A second American Revolution could more resemble the French Revolution complete with all its excesses.
They won’t arrest him - just talking about it pumps up their Trump-hating base. They will just keep teasing it and milking it right up to the election.
Actually arresting him would backfire by exposing the fact that they have no case.
