Using a camera to take pictures or videos would be safer than a cell phone, since they can’t be tracked. Nowadays, most digital cameras, even cheap point-and-shoots, can take video, and small, pocketable camcorders are still on the market.

A lot of cameras still record metadata (Exif data) onto phones. The data can be use to track down photos. Use software to remove the metadata before uploading to the internet.
