But here’s my opinion: He is setting a trap for Trump hoping to so push his buttons and to so anger him and his supporters that they riot and create a January 6th situation and he can be accused of fomenting a riot.Maybe. But also the media are going to say everyday for the next two years that Trump has been indicted and that will be all some people know about the case.
Also, Bragg doesn't have to have an endgame or a strategic motive. His backers (and his voters) want him to make trouble for Trump. He's going to give them what they want and that's that.
