There was a psychological study I remember from college. It was designed so that possibilities were two fold.

1) You could share in the reward

2) or stop the other guy from having a reward even if it meant you didn’t get anything either.

60% chose option two. They would rather destroy something.

You live in the world that 60% want to destroy.
