If Guardsmark “security officers” are only allowed to “observe and report” then they’re clearly not “securing” anything. They are nothing more than reporters, not “guards” ... which would qualify my sharp-eyed, 6-year-old grandson for a “security officer” position at Guardsmark.
Your grandson has to be 18 years old to be enrolled as a security officer in most states. Guardsmark was sold to a bigger firm. But it is now common for security to be forbidden ALL weapons including pepper spray and the traditional large heavy flashlight.
Insurance companies and practically all corporations have made such the standard policy.
Don’t you realize criminals turn back on seeing signs forbidding firearms?
The shootings and murders must be committed by persons who can’t read or didn’t see the signs!
