That would probably be a bad bet. I was an urban public school teacher for decades. Our union leadership was totally leftist. But we teachers pretty much mirrored society as a whole. We had conservative Trump Republicans, Bernie Sanders communists, and everything in between.

So how could our union leaders be 100% leftist? Well, I could tell you union election stories that would make Stalin envious.
