I have several vehicles in varying states of restoration. For the ones inside my garage I have those trickle chargers that keep the battery charged but not over-charged. For the outside ones (that have batteries in them) I picked up solar chargers from Harbor Freight. They’re not great in the winter months but will keep the battery from going completely dead.

That’s interesting. I have a good trickle charger I bought to keep an old Yamaha XS650 Special charged because I only road it sporadically. I winterized it a few years back and never brought it out of dormancy. After your suggestion, I decided to try it on the car. It’s ticking away right now, keeping the car battery charged. Thanks. I didn’t realize they made solar powered chargers.
