Neither Lionel nor Ethel were alcoholics, druggies, and/or lefties!
As a matter of fact, Lionel was a HUGE GOPer, besides being a marvelous actor and director. And Ethel was also fine, as were their parents.
It was only Jack, his son, and his son's daughter, Drew, who were/are messed up.
