People who were abused as children, in general, are lost souls seeking company in their misery. They’ve been seriously mentally damaged and most carry that trauma for the rest of their lives and a good portion even pass on that abuse or allow other abusers in their lives who will pass that abuse on to future generations.

They’re not mentally sound individuals and we are witnessing it here. These are two damaged people identifying with each other’s trauma.
