I have a few Freepers in mind. All of whom pass one test: They don’t insult posters they don’t agree with.

Insults have sadly becoming way too common here on FR. Someone posts a Trump comment (could be pro, could be con). Too many folks who disagree with that comment won’t take the time to craft an effective counter-argument. Instead they start throwing out insults.

Same goes with the Ukrainian threads.

So yeah. I would enjoy a beer with any Freeper who could carry on a civil conversation. That way I might even learn something.

Many of the dozen or so candidates that come to mind quickly are obvious and have been listed, but here four that haven’t—two of whom I have founded hope of drinking with at some point—something good to look forward to outside of Lent.

Rebel Base — He introduced me to FR ages ago. We ‘met’ at a lefty website that I was trolling called Democratic Talk Radio. This was during the Chandra Levy murder days. I was defending the Congressman, said something that he called me out on. I told him privately that was a conservative pretending to be a lefty and was just messing with them. He directed me here and have been here ever since.
