Races don’t have abilities, nor intelligence, nor morality.
Individuals do. By definition, any allegations that group individuals by heredity are racist.
Non-Racist: Treat each individual as if the individual came straight from God.
“Treat each individual as if the individual came straight from God.”
So, let me see if I got your theology straight. I must treat a heinous, sadistic, serial murderer similarly to Mother Teresa since they both came from God? And apparently you have trouble distinguishing between the two!?
Man, what kind of God do you believe in that would create a Hitler and demand that you should honor and respect him because he’s his creation!?
The only thing I can conclude is that your god is a sick puppy... Or maybe you should revisit your pious drivel.
God gave you a brain and you don’t seem to be making good use of it. I’m sure he’s not happy about that. So, try to honor him by using at least a bit of the gray matter he gave you.
As for me being a racist... If being a racist is believing the REALITY that different identifiable groups of people have on AVERAGE differennces in some traits that can be rather pronounced, then I’m a flaming racist. (AVERAGE is a very important qualifier in that sentence. At a societal level it is the AVERAGE that matters not a few individuals at the extremes of the bell curve).
And I got plenty of company at being that type of racist - in fact I would bet anything that 99% of the people, if they are at all honest believe the same.
And that includes you, despite, I’m sure, your pious protestations. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that you probably live in an overwhelming white (or non-black), neighborhood and that you have few, if any, black friends that you regularly socialize with... and I’m sure that’s totally coincidental... Right?
One more thing, acknowledging the reality of differences in trait AVERAGES between easily identifiable groups of people (eg, races), doesn’t mean that I dislike others or wish them ill. Actually just the opposite. it’s simply being honest and accepting reality. It’s being a “race realist”.
Now, at a societal level (not personal), those differences can be such that they may cause significant friction between groups (kinda like dogs and cats not getting along), and thus the 64K question is “How do we reduce or eliminate this friction between incompatible groups to enhance peaceful coexistence?” That is the number one problem in this country today.
Well I know what we do with cats and dogs to enhance their peaceful coexistence - we don’t put them in the same cage - we use separate cages.
Could that work for incompatible human groups as well? What do you think?
As an aside, but related, being a freeper I’m sure you’ve read about Scott Adams (Dilbert) comments about race - do you agree or disagree with him?
Sorry this went so long, but hope it helped.
