Not sure about sabotage, but Ohio seems unlucky when it comes to trains.

There were over 1000 train derailments in the U.S. in 2022, and so far over a dozen in 2023.

Looking at the numbers, it may not be that unusual for Ohio to have as many as they’ve had. 1000 nationwide seems like a high number.
