There were over 1000 train derailments in the U.S. in 2022, and so far over a dozen in 2023.
Looking at the numbers, it may not be that unusual for Ohio to have as many as they’ve had. 1000 nationwide seems like a high number.
I ran some quick searches on PA, OH, IN & IL. They each listed 45 accidents last year.
Let’s move all of our oil by train. Warren Buffet says it’s the best way. //sarc
