“God is love” and just loves everyone, so it’s ok to partake in things, because God is love!
It’s such a banal and stupid argument, it floors me that any professing Christian can even say garbage like that.
That reminds me of the “love makes a family” crowd.
Such a slogan would justify sex with family pets, farm animals and children, not to mention polygamy.
