Short women can be very difficult to work with.
I’m talking about 75-85 y.o.
can be royal pains in the arse.
They are too small to fit in a car. Too short for shopping carts, sitting at a table... royal pains.
Well, my grandmother worked part time at a local Publix in Cocoa Beach Fl. for a few years after she retired and moved there, she dealt with a lot of very short older women.
She was not very tall at all herself, and when the little tiny old women came in to shop they sent cart boys around following them to help them get anything higher than the third shelf, rather than them standing there hoping someone would come by and assist them.
Preemptive more or less, they knew they would need assistance.
The term the workers had for them were “Bottom Feeders” since they could only reach the bottom shelves, and over the intercom the would hear “BF aisle 8” when the manager could see one standing there looking at a shelf 4 feet over their head.
