To the best of my knowledge, no one has posed the question whether or not the pertinent virus samples were ever shipped to ANY other labs, including US/Ukraine.
The research could have been performed anywhere, but the collective, pertinent result - intentional or otherwise - was spread in Wuhan late summer 2019.
Fomenting hate against China for the virus is a dangerous game for US officials in my view. It may have been found in China, but US labs and US money “weaponiised” it in China, with no indication that the Chinese government knew what the US was doing. Should those US officials become involved in a losing war with China (and these officials are incompetent enough to do that), they are looking at international criminal trials and standing on a scaffold much like Saddam Hussein.
The segment of the public that follow these details know that Fauci and Ft. Derrick are behind it.
Your assertion that calling attention to Wuhan takes attention away from Fauci and Ft. Detrick is not supported, rather the opposite. Drawing attention to Wuhan leads to Fauci and Ft. Detrick involvement unless something else buries it.
However, it is true that CIA/FBI strategists often use diversion as a tactic. For example, setting off an explosion in one sector to draw attention away from another.
The likely reason for now calling the China Virus the China Virus is warships are reported to be amassing off the coasts of Taiwan.
The reveal of the origin of the virus might be considered a message to Beijing that the Biden regime is either not ready for a Taiwan takeover, or needs the distraction of pending war to prepare for Martial Law as a Pandemic-like ploy to rig the next election.
PRC is near certain to take Taiwan in the next year or two. This pivot allows a war footing to emerge in the interim with ensuing Martial Law.
