Wonder how much the US State Department gave to their monkey Naftali to make it dance?

Or, maybe, the CIA made it clear that he would change his story.

Never mind that Angela Merkel and François Hollande openly said Ukraine never had any intention of honoring the Minsk Agreement. Or that the Russians came to us in December of 2021 seeking to avoid this war through negotiation.

Russia consistently has been the side that has sought to negotiate peace. We're the ones that wanted this war and have pushed to keep it going.

He's backtracking under pressure because let the truth slip out.

But, it's been obvious going back to the Minsk Accords which side sought peace (Russia) and which side pushed for war (NATO).

Bennett was willing to do anything to take down Netanyahu, including hurt Israel-US relations, help Iran, and lie. He was called out on it by members of his own party

Thank you for your comments.

When Trump was President, the news would step by step twist what he said to suit their agenda. When that happened conservatives called them out for it. It it is wrong when the left does it and its wrong when our side does it.

One part of the conservative commentary has a tendency to twist history badly to suit a immediate political situation. Most of those are not really conservatives, just pandering to the right which makes it easy for the left to use what they say to attack us. A more distasteful example of this was when McCain sent the Steele dossier to the FBI (who already knew about it), there were those who responded by blaming him for the 1967 USS Forestal Fire, which was despicable.

Besides agent provocateur our side has its own share of idiots who discredits us pretty well at times. The left does the same twisting of narrative. Except they control the majority of the mass media, are much better at it. Conservatives are third rate at this.

So I posted this to challenge the nonsense coming from the isolationist/ nationalist/ head in sand side of the right.

To be fair, Bennet DOES say "The West" wanted to "strike" Putin some more (ostensibly in Bennet's view to deter future aggression), with the UK's Johnson being the most hawkish viewpoint.

our side has its own share of idiots who discredits us pretty well at times.

Haha - yeah, like the poster claiming Russian space technology was equal to ours, when SpaceX has just safely landed its 100th consecutive booster for re-use...

And then Bennet is rather complimentary of Netanyahu in this interview.

Interesting.

Russia consistently has been the side that has sought to negotiate peace.

Well, yeah, make your grab and then offer to negotiate...

Rinse and repeat.

Who the "F" is fooled by that?

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Is there a transcript somewhere? Trying to scroll through a 5 hour interview to re-find specific points is, well, tedious...

Getting YouTube transcripts is a little tedious. How to Get the Transcript of a YouTube Video

The way I go about it:

1. Click the six sided gear icon next to the CC box in the video frame, follow the menus to set subtitles to English.
2. Click the three horizontal dots at the top right of the video description, they should be next to the word "save+".
3. Select transcript. For a five hour video it will take a while to load.
4. For finding keywords at a specific time, keep time stamps turned on
5. Highlight (usually left click on the mouse) inside the transcript frame and hold mouse and page down key to highlight the transcript text.
6. When the cursor pages down to the bottom of the transcript frame, all the text should be highlighted.
7. Copy the highlighted text to a word processor. Wordpad will work, since it has a text search function.

I hope that's not too confusing.
