May I go a bit further and ask
What features of a TV do I need?
My old TV is ready to die and I will probably be needing a new one.
Do I need WiFi? OLED, QLED, UHD? 4K? It’s all so confusing...
Consider buying a ROKU TV.
#69 OLED has image burn in problem where say the logos/graphics are permanently burned in.
QLED does not have that issue.
4k is good if you have content that is 4k. Most tv’s are capable of 4k and are cheap to buy. If you have a blu-ray player the detail is amazing. I watched John Wayne in ‘The Searchers’ blu-ray and I could see the stitching in his shirt.
Much of broadcast tv is still mostly 720, maybe some 1080. They share the bandwidth with other channels. Example: 7.1, 7.2, 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 etc.
Sports tend to use higher resolution. I saw F1 racing on Youtube and it looked unreal, like a video game. It was so clear.
You want a tv that has several hdmi and usb ports. One for say a Roku box and usb ports for a wireless keyboard and mouse. It is easiler to sin in using a computer at Roku or Youtube or Sling but if needed you can do so thru the tv.
