It would be a gold mine with the price of wings now. Just think about how many bars/ food dives would buy cheap wing cases from the back of a van. Unlimited free wing source would be $$$$.
I recall in the early 80s my grandmother making fun of us for buying wings from a local bar. “Wings?! The butcher gave them away for cat food.”

Used to be that chicken wings were thrown away as waste product of a chicken, like the neck and gizzards.
However, in 1964 at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, this restaurant decided to cook them up and serve them as an appetizer.
The rest is culinary history.
