good news...now...will they try to make it a new amendment. and start the process all over ? would congress buy it today ? 2/3 in each house is needed.

Yes, they need to start all over, which is what Justice Ginsburg told them. It was her statement to the backers of the ERA that took the wind out of their sails.

However, there aren't enough votes in either House of Congress to make it happen. They probably couldn't even get a simple majority, much less a two thirds majority.
