I think vinyl albums are the bees knees. I’ve always loved the artwork, and the music is a great bonus. Probably the other way around, but you get my point. Vinyl is awesome.

“Persuasive Percussion” (which I remember seeing in record stores when I was in about fourth grade) was marketed as an aid to seduction during the “swinging bachelor pad” era, celebrated in the various Austin Powers movies.
Of course I had no clue as to this aspect of the album, which I couldn’t afford to buy anyway at the time. Plus I didn’t have a stereo. No one I knew had a stereo either, in 1964.
