“who still bothers to darken the door of a movie theatre to begin with?”
I realy can’t remember the last time I went to a theater.
With internet streaming services being so prevalent nowadays I’m surprised movie theaters haven’t gone the way of drive in movies....DVD kiosks as well for that matter.
Last movie I attended was “Iron Man” in 2008...
I’m surprised movie theaters haven’t gone the way of drive in movies..

With the CCP (China communist party members) owning the largest movie theater chain in the world, that would be a good thing.
If you ever wondered why American movies are anti-America that is the reason - Hollywood sold our nation out for money.
I am surprised too - that movie theaters are still in business. My town has a 16-screen AMC, along with an 8-screen and another with at least 10 screens, all within walking distance of one another - I did notice that businesses are closed (except for a Chiplotle) around the 16-screen theater, which is telling.
I haven’t been to the theater since “Elvis” came out - and before that, at least two years - and my family and I were regular weekend movie-goers.
It’s the quality of the movies that are out, nothing I’m interested and no one that looks like me - so why bother.
