When you have to pay between $6-14 to drive across any NYC connecting bridge, so that you can pay another $50 and up to park, so that a NYC professional street thief can beat the hell out of you and steal your stuff, I ax, why bother?
I lived in Manhattan for several years, {one year was when NYC broke the all time murder record, over 2,000 and they were so proud of it, that the local TV stations were giving up to the minute stats in late December {actually hoping that they'd exceed 2,200}.
For any NYorker that lived there that year, 1990 I think, you know this is true.
