For over twenty years, I heard and believed that Rush Limbaugh was credited with “saving AM radio”.
Now that Rush is no more, I believe that more than ever.
The problem is Rush spoiled us by being the GOAT. The Greatest Of All Time. Now when I do listen, they are like comparing Joe ‘81millionvotes’ Biden’s oratory to Winston Churchill.

Jesse Kelly has supplanted Mark Levin for me.

The good thing about Rush was that he wasn’t all politics/negativity/anger all the time. He would get you fired up and then change gears to something light hearted. While I mostly agree with the new people, I can’t handle hours of negative/anger. I find myself listing only to the topics intro and the turning it off after 2 or 3 segments.

I listen to early morning 6-9am
Christ Stigall, from Philly, and
"Chris Plante Show", WMAL-DC, 9-12. Bonehead Bongino sounds like a 15yr old kid, with his nuts caught in a vice in shop class, when he screams, so I tune him out and go listen to Podcasts of Chris Plante and Chris Stigall.

Rush had already exposed it and them and all you had to do was believe it.

For me, the only must-listen appointment radio/tv is Steve Bannon’s Warroom on Real America’s Voice as well as his Battleground program carried by Mike Lindell’s Frank Speech.
Still tuning in to Mark Levin but on the verge of giving up on his NEO Con banging the drums for going to war to help Ukraine. He also fails to find fault with Faux News since he works for them on Sunday nights, undermining his integrity.

I listen to Salem Radio Network hosts sometimes, with their guys such as Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Sebastian Gorka, and Officer Tatum.

Chris Plante is the one for me. After he goes off at 11:00 central...I move on to music until Chris returns the next day.
To: Red Badger
It seems like he has been gone a decade. Dark years indeed.

We have Mark Kaye in Rush’s times lot
To: Red Badger
They have Clay Travis and Buck Sexton on in Rush’s time slot where I live. Still listen but it’s just not the same.
One of my favorite experiences was going on a road trip and listening to Rush on the radio while my wife read a book.
Miss those days.

Rush was fun to listen to, but it didn’t really accomplish anything. What a bizarre thing to say. Rush got us the first Republican Congress in decades.

Bongino. He needs to move to Salem when his contract is up. Cumulus is vaxxed.
