Probably not related, but…. If my child is pre-school aged and I don’t put him in pre-school, am I now an “at home” provider and, thus, in need of the certification/degrees required?

That is funny isn’t it. My effects never graduated college, but my homeschooled girls started college at 13 and 14. Antidotally, college education degrees make for lousy educators. ;)
ChatGPT has shown the potential of AI, but also the GIGO that can easily be part of it.They’re saying that it takes a huge quantity of text input to train an AI - but the trouble is that, absent wisdom, intelligence is of limited utility.
Superficiality and negativity are, IMHO, the opposite of wisdom but are the defining characteristics of journalism and of leftism. Show me an AI which has learned (or been directed) to prioritize wisdom and be skeptical of the priorities of journalism, and I’ll consider it a boon to the homeschool movement.
