Now that is spooky as bleep, right there. The notion that anyone would fly anywhere near that cloud is nuts. At least one component of the smoke is HCL and when it gets wet, as in rain, washdown, etc. it turns into hydrochloric acid. That in turn would eat the skin right off an airplane. You could find yourself flying Wonder Woman’s invisible plane.
Note to plane owners with planes parked anywhere near that airborne scum: clean them thoroughly. Get them covered if possible. Don’t start the engines until you KNOW the air is clear. Keep that scum away from your fuel. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
