I never dropped 60 feet, but I dropped from 40 feet into Victory Pond at Benning. Went under a long way before surfacing. Can just imagine an extra 20 feet.

Did the 40 foot rope drop into Lake Lewis 4 times between Spring Camp and ROTC Advanced Camp. It wasn’t much fun in the spring, water temperature was 55-60.
