I’ll vote for Trump in the general election, if he wins the primary. But he won’t have earned it, it will only because I don’t want a Democrat to win.
Trump has broken my trust.
He broke it when he kept trotting Fauci out on that stage every day, when everyone already knew that Fauci was behind gain of function and the virus to begin with. Trump never did anything to ban gain of function afterward either.
He broke my trust when he ordered all those vaccines before the first test had even been run on them, and now brags about it.
He broke my trust when he took $250 million dollars advertised to fight election fraud, and ran away with it instead.
He broke my trust when he switched form being against gay marriage, to throwing galas celebrating the new gay marriage law at his resort.
He never locked her up, never made Mexico pay for the wall, and never asked any of those horrible appointments of his to resign.
It’s no accident his favorite story is ”the snake.”
I’m not going to say you don’t make some valid points, but I will say that there’s a lot of swamp to drain in Washington. Clearly Trump was not 100% successful. But he was nevertheless more successful than any modern president in fighting the deep state. The answer isn’t to put another establishment Republican in his place. And people need to look hard at any candidate being hailed by the establishment. In politics, people are not always who they appear to be.
Should have sidelined Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx and went with Dr. Robert Redfield and Dr. Jerome Adams. Then Trump would be able to control the message. He would be able to push for reopening earlier. Then add Dr. Atlas (which he did but it was too late)
