There’s a few things you left out but that’s a pretty good assessment from a truly conservative standpoint.
But you know the more I listen to the Trump supporters here, there’s a very common theme in all of them whenever any of the horrible things he did as President are pointed out.
“But he’s a fighter!”
That’s it. That’s all they can come up with. But then when you point out he didn’t really fight the deep state, not one EO against them, not one budget veto, all he did was act tough on Twitter, they don’t have any response, except “well I like his mean tweets and you’re just a wuss if you don’t too.”
Seeing this behavior over and over, it’s becoming more clear their devotion to Trump is based purely on this phony image he has created of himself on social media. They believe that just because he says harsh things online that it directly correlates to actions being taken, when there is actually a complete disconnect.
Most of his online rants aren’t even about how he’s fighting, they’re really more about him playing the victim card. I personally always thought that proved how weak and ineffective he has been about actually fighting the deep state, but to his supporters it apparently is their version of fighting.
I’m going to be keeping a closer eye on this going forward, as I believe that his social media persona is actually who these Trump supporters are truly in love with, not the man himself. The Wizard of Oz is probably a good analogy.
Factoring in the Q too. It portrayed him as a humanitarian, Savior of Western civilization and the world, yes globally. He is selfless beyond your average citizen and only he can save us from the deep state and global cabal.
There is some ‘guilt’ too, as Trump continuously blames his faithful for his legal woes. It’s only happening because the DS is after them and he’s in the way. It gets very strange, the deeper you go.
Your post 114 is OUTSTANDING.
The most vigorous exercise of the inherent powers of the Presidency between 1/20/2017 and 1/20/2021 was pardoning Charles Kushner.
Think about that for a few minutes.
