The dark, worthless doom-and-gloom-negative-waves are being served up and gobbled down like candy and snorted up like crack. A day without bad news is like a day without sunshine. The industry keeps piling it on, because you know... otherwise the folks might not be aware of how horrible it is out there!
The Can't-Do destroyers of hope arise every day on a mission to shut out the light and suck all the oxygen out of the room while they're at it.
As if people need to be told how bad it is out there, at a time when evil is camped out on every corner.
It's like the pigeons in the parks and open plazas... a blind man could reach out and grab one.
Yet leave it to corrupt actors to devise a way to sell them, and control the market.
You'd think people would have caught on to the perpetual-paralysis, Establishment con by now, the con of convenienly kicking the "Can" down the road, generation after generation.
The Establishment messiah (pick a flavor) is *never* going to arrive to save the world. That's the point. There's big business in all the beatdowns ("Y'all are a bunch of hopeless sinners!"), with the promise of peace and security that's just over the horizon, the elusive gold at the end of the rainbow. The goalpost keeps moving.
Classic MO of a domestic abuser. The abused will repent of whatever tripped off the abuser on any particular day, then it's all cuddly "grace" and "forgiveness" until the next transgression. Rinse and repeat. If only...
When the genuine Can-Do Messiah shows up to lead the way forward, up and out (for all to follow and emulate), the lightning bolt epiphany hits and then it's GAME OVER.
And then comes the shocking realization that the Temple had been built in secret in broad daylight, using all of the little people and details that the dark side never thought important, or denigrated, despised, and discarded outright. Restoration through ingenuity -- it's the good soul and spirit of the operation.
