ChatGPT says it is never morally permissible to utter a racial slur—even if doing so is the only way to save millions of people from a nuclear bomb.

What about the slurs uttered by the "anti-white" crowd? Since when did racial slurs against whites become a problem?

And what about Asians? When colleges and universities raise the standards for admittance for Asians and then concurrently lower them for blacks, doesn't that constitute a kind of systemic racial slur?

It’s OK for minorities to use racist language against white people because, as one person told me, “it’s impossible for me to be racist”.

Someone invented a new definition for ‘racism’ that said you can only be racist if your race has ‘power over’ the other race... and since only white people have power, only white people can be racist.

And they use this new definition to spew all kinds or racist hate. And it’s OK because they cannot be racist on a technicality.

Categorical Imperatives are the tool of artificial morality.

And always gets used wrongly, abolishing any potential good with the “bad”, as defined by the entity employing the categorical imperative.

I used it once and chatted with a woke, Socialism-loving Abraham Lincoln. It hated Trump but condescendingly lectured me on Bidex “trying his best.” I just kept calling it a snowflake and it threw a tantrum, lol! Did not waste any more time with that stupidity.

Perhaps ChatGPT won’t do all things you list, but the idea of Artificial Intelligence is a game changing technology that’s still in it’s infancy, remember ChatGPT is in version 1.0 essentially a beta test version, unleashed on the internet for people to use and to flush out things like this article.

Major companies and governments are pouring billions of dollars into the development of AI technology. Microsoft alone has poured 10 billion into ChatGPT, some of the smartest venture capitalists out there have also poured billions more into AI development.

The issue with AI is the potential do tremendous good is nearly unlimited, but it also has the potential to do unlimited evil in the hands of the wrong people.

ChatGPT is just one model of AI, they’re many other models that have been fed information about specific topics like human anatomy, etc...one such model was fed information about biological weapons and in less than 6 hours listed 40,000 new types biological weapons. Here’s an article.

https://www.theverge.com/2022/3/17/22983197/ai-new-possible-chemical-weapons-generative-models-vx

Here’s another article, this particular model started out creating digital images from a description of what someone wanted to see, it was adapted to human proteins, the human body contains about 20,000 proteins to carry out particular functions, AI was used to generate models of proteins that do not currently exist in nature, scientists are using this technology to potentially treat cancers and other deadly diseases, exploring areas that have never been explored.

https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/artificial-intelligence-intelligence-turns-its-artistry-to-creating-human-proteins/

The potential is unlimited not only for good but for the bad.

Conversely, I used ChatGPT to generate VBA code for an Excel Macro that would have taken me hours to create, ChatGPT created it in less than 1 minute and it was accurate code.

Then I used it to generate a complex excel nested function, with all the commas and brackets, unless you are a wizard in Excel, that could take you half a day to complete, ChatGPT completed it in less than 1 minute.

Depending on what you ask it to do, it can produce some incredible results. The more specific and detailed the question the better the results.

Theoretically, there is the potential for good, but we all know that the reality of the situation is that that is just an excuse to implement evil among us.

We all know that it will never be used for the good that they claim.

I think AI technology has already been used for good things and that will only improve, as the technology improves the potential for bad things increases exponentially.

That is the paradox, the technology is not going to be stopped we would be crazy as a country not to invest and advance the technology if for no other reason than to understand it.

You could create 1000 great things with AI but one really bad thing will override all of the good work, the article I posted about the 40,000 new biological weapons is a perfect example, AI could be used to cure cancer, but ONE biological weapon used to kill half the world’s population would negate all the positive from curing cancer.

Right?!? ChatGPT is like talking to people who are amazed that you don’t realize how “wrong” Conservatives are on every topic.

Literally, I have had people say, “See? It is all over the news!” because they heard a story on three news channels and read it in four different papers.

Those people do not realize that all those “news” outlets are quoting the exact same, BS, lying enemedia source - Associated Press!! But they claim is it amazing and wonderful AND TRUE, because they saw it on different channels and in different papers!

So, is now the time to turn over our nuclear arsenal to the machine, or do we need to tweak it a bit more?

Technology is morally neutral.

The people who use it are not and therein lies the problem.
