Common sense says if your are about to bring down a balloon in a certain area, you would have pre-staged several craft in that area. They are still lying.
-—worse than just lying: They’re making it sound like our rescue/salvage guys are buffoons who couldn’t cover the entire East Coast in a day——even if they didn’t know the FJBalloonXI was coming. I would expect a salvage crew to at least take exception to the slur. And besides, they claim the wreck is in 47 feet of water. A bunch of sponge divers might get it first?
