Not either. And your comment is the sort of intellectual laziness that makes these threads so unproductive. So please stop being lazy and practice some discernment.
There are videos of Capitol Police basically inviting people in through open unlocked doors, doing nothing to stop it. Do you really think in the wake of 9/11 they couldn’t have shut and locked the doors, proof against opening without serious tools?
There's no "basically" about it. Either they let them in or they did not. And in the grand scheme of things, it's not relevant for several of the statutes that many people are people charged with - they require no showing of intent. That's one reason why multiple peole, including some on FR, advised against going to DC on 01/06. Because it was a TRAP.

This was totally a setup.
Yep. All the more reason to stay away on THAT DAY.
McCarthy needs to release the videos.
Agreed. But intent does not have to be proven in many of the charges that people are facing.
Walking into The People’s House through an unlocked door in full view of Capitol Police doing nothing to shoo them away should not be a prosecutable crime, and anyone engaged in that should themselves be charged with deprivation of civil rights under color of law.
