Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills has been indicted on rape and kidnapping felony charges, the Ohio Attorney General and a county sheriff announced Wednesday.
Sills, 25, was issued a summons to appear at Guernsey County Common Pleas Court on Feb. 16. The Eagles will play the Kansas City Chiefs for the Super Bowl LVII title in Glendale, Arizona on Feb. 12.
He has been placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List as the league begins a personal conduct policy review, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Sills will not be allowed to participate in team activities including practice, games and travel.

“Sills will not be allowed to participate in team activities including practice, games and travel.”
Stupid is as stupid does.
Odd, from 2019...
I don’t know if he was a key player, to to the degree he was, it’s gotta be demoralizing to the team.
What a tangled web we weave, when we practice to kidnap and rape.
I guess they don’t want him on the sideline for Super Bowl
That might not look very good
Fly Fatty Fly
He was a reserve player, only appeared in one game.
...and just remember, an indictment is NOT a conviction.
Regardless of how mush the press loves to convict the accused, an indictment is only a finding of PROBABLE CAUSE (PC) TO ARREST AND INDICT, NOT GUILTY BRD.
You almost always find PC to arrest or else the cops and the DA aren’t doing their job. But that simply means it reasonably looked to the cops and the DA that a crime was committed.
PC is a long way off from Guilty Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.
As the saying goes, you could indict a ham sandwich.
Long ways from a guilt conviction.
How about indicting a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?
No wonder a decent woman wouldn’t date him
I know when I get kidnapped and raped, I wait three years to file charges.
3 years huh? Sorry. I don’t buy a charge that old and impossible to prove on the face of it. This is getting out of hand. On e upon a time in America the cops would have rightly informed the complainant that there was nothing they could do.
From the article:
“He is a reserve player and has appeared in only one game this season, none in the post season”
The timing is weird to say the least.
The timing is weird to say the least.
A player that almost never plays.....strange.
Yeah, if he was a superstar, he might have been able to keep it quiet until after the Stupor Bowl.
Supposedly there was a friend of the woman present at the outset. Nothing is said about her corroboration or lack of, or anything else. Odd.
