* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...A snowstorm will bring plowable snow to the region with a period of moderate travel impacts expected. Periods of moderate snow and low visibility will be the biggest hazards. Some sleet may mix in at times. Avoid travel if possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.

We are nice and warm now since the electricity came back on a couple of hours ago.
Could have used your beautiful wood stove.
We are supposed to get between 4 to 11 inches, got at least 4 so far.
It has stopped snowing but is going to start up again later this evening and snow through tomorrow.
It is a very heavy wet snow, hubby tried to snow blow but just clogged up the machine so will have to shovel.
I will get up with you in the middle of the night and blow a raspberry or two myself.
