Mayorkas, Harris claim that ‘border is secure’ is not true, Arizona sheriff says
February 1, 2023
Sheriff Mark Dannels of Cochise County, Arizona, spoke plainly about the state of affairs at the southern border, confirming to the House Judiciary Committee that it is not secure, contrary to what Biden administration officials have said.
He, along with a man that lost his son to fentanyl, testified at the border crisis hearing, along with the El Paso County Judge which was the Democrats go to.
In my opinion, the dems stressed that the hearing was about immigration and not border security, according to them, two separate issues. Seems they don’t care much about human trafficking and drug problems.
Texas set to execute Wesley Ruiz despite ongoing fight over state’s use of old lethal injection drugs
Ruiz, 43, was sentenced to death nearly 15 years ago for the 2007 shooting of Dallas police Senior Cpl. Mark Nix following a high-speed car chase. The chase began while police were searching for a murder suspect, according to court documents. Ruiz’s car eventually slid off the side of the road, and Nix rushed over and began smashing the passenger side window with his police baton. Ruiz fatally shot him in the chest through the back passenger window, court filings state.
In an active legal battle, Ruiz and other condemned prisoners have argued the state prison system should not be allowed to continue extending the expiration dates of its execution drugs. They claim the use of old drugs violates the U.S. Constitution’s prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment.

I don’t like the death penalty dealt out without overwhelming evidence. But if this is the excuse, bring back the electric chair.
I tried to find the House Judiciary hearing earlier, finally found it and they were on recess.
Did any sparks fly?
That is any after the ones by Gaetz and No-nads.
