If Trump is going to embrace all of Ron DeSantis' platform positions as his own, why not just go with the guy who is implementing them into law now, and not the one who promises to do it later?

He's friendly with adult homosexuals, for sure. He is likely "live and Let Live" among adult trans-people. I am not thrilled about that. As president, he was rolling back the trans stuff in the armed forces, and the lefties have tripled down along with the military establishment. It is ruined as much as the FBI. He has a line of what to put up with in his mind. It is much more relaxed than the line in my mind, but sharper and narrower than that of any Dem and also Romney Republicans.
