The 3rd Gen 97 is the 4Runner. Perhaps the toughest, most durable, and strongest one ever made. Indestructable. I got one back from my nephew and it had been pretty abused. So much gunk from non detergent motor oil, couldn’t even get a reading on the dipstick. replaced the fuel pump and pulled 3300lbs camper with it all over South Carolina. Over 335,000 miles now and son is still using as a daily driver.
