We IMMEDIATELY repainted our son’s bedroom PINK with flowery wallpaper after he moved out making it the guest bedroom and the other bedroom into a sewing room.
Sorry Charlie, you are NOT moving back in, PERIOD!

My daughter, quit her job, and college and moved out with friends in an apartment. She traded her job as a pharmacists assistant, which was supported by the classes in college. She wanted to work at Starbucks.
I actually tore out the wall to her bedroom, and made the living room bigger.
No kidding. That dog won’t hunt in my little corner of the world.
Our 25-year old daughter came home for Christmas and was in her room. I told her next time she came back it might be changed into a guest room.
“That’s fine - as long as I can still be a guest!”
“You’ll never be a guest here - you’re family, and always will be.”
