See it?!
I've never even heard of it!
(Which I found to be ironic when I looked it up)
“It was CODA. Didn’t see it.”
It’s not my type of movie.
From imdb.com:
As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) Ruby is the only hearing person in her deaf family. When the family’s fishing business is threatened, Ruby finds herself torn between pursuing her passion at Berklee College of Music and her fear of abandoning her parents.
One brief sex scene that shows heavy thrusting. Various comedic crude references to orgies, oral sex, ejaculation and sex (a majority done by hand guestures).
Some uses of ‘shit’, ‘asshole’, ‘bitches’. ‘Suck my dick’ is said out loud.
I saw it on Apple TV, I think. I thought it was an excellent movie.
I got the irony of your comment 🙂👍.

Me neither. I’ve often stumbled upon articles that listed movies that received these awards and found that I do not recognize hardly any of the movies listed.
Years ago, I would recognize many of the movies that received accolades. Films such as the original Star Wars (you have to admit the special effects were amazing for that time) or the “Raiders of the Lost Ark” (great action, fun, good plot), or “Schindler’s List” (very moving and about a time in world history that is being forgotten). However, now all movies that are selected for honors are required to be “woke” even if the plot and acting are horrible.
Movies no longer are a work of art but instead are based solely on activism and pushing a narrative.
