There are much evidence for advanced civilizations far into the distant past. Some under the ocean, some in jungles, etc. A few years ago in a river delta off the coast of India - I think the west coast - archeologists discovered a city about 9500 hundred years old. Well planned, drains, roads in cardinal directions, residential areas, public areas, etc.

Word is that the Smithsonian has huge evidence that they do not show to the public. Would disturb the accepted paradigm of evolution and development of civilizastions.
