With all those “gones” no wonder football has gotten kind of boring to watch. Guess you’re saying if I was still playing I’d have to be faster to get them in between the whistles. With six refs on the field now it’s harder to hide. That facebar thing is kind of funny-—I always used only a single bar. Better visibility was a defense against getting trapped.
There’s always hockey! Took 2 of the grandsons to a very minor league hockey game last weekend. It was a blast. And cheap. $5 a person and popcorn was a dollah!!
I said to the 13 yr/o, it’s good helmets have wire masks...I mean, who wants to punch a guy with wire cage in the way?? And J started laughing. “Nana, you’re so funny”, he said. They take off the masks and gloves and go at it!! Ohhh, lol.
