Someone should tell Noah.
If Noah had been a “pure blood” in the way God intended man to be then Christ never would have had to shed his “perfect blood” for his and his descendents... you know like you and me??!! God favored Noah because of his faith in him, not because of his genetics and we know nothing of what sort of Genetics his wife had. Sin altered our genetics and shortened our lives making us susceptible to disease, suffering, and death. Perfect genetics and sinlessness would never have subjected us to such defects! We are not “pure bloods” but we know that when we believe in Christ, we become new creatures, “as all things have passed away and all things become new. Researchers even have found some basis for this in genetics, noting that folks who have taken up a religious life after giving up drugs and etoh for example display changes in their DNA structures. Lots of folks have anecdotally noted the brightened change of countenance they see when a sinner becomes a true new believer in Christ!
There is a danger to this all this”pure blood” nonsense. Nazis loved this sort of talk.
