He shouldn’t be, and I hope he figures out the right message on this. Trump isn’t a doctor or medical researcher; he relied upon the advice of those who at least claimed to be “medical experts.” He should take credit for, in good faith, reducing the red tape to get a “vaccine” out in record time, given the circumstances. He had no way to know that what was actually being developed was no vaccine at all, but rather an ineffective and dangerous experimental drug.
Trump should take credit for clearing a path for what he was assured by “experts” was the answer for the pandemic, but he should also now be clear about how those “experts” misled the country and combined with the corrupt Biden administration inflicted tremendous harm. He CAN legitimately have it both ways here if he plays it right.
