Trump needs to get in front of this. He absolutely needs to STOP taking credit. The VAX was developed before the COVID release.
He was talking up the vaccine just a day or so ago.

I have been saying the same for months. Trump’s ego is going to snag him and he could come out and put the blame where it really lies. The developers. Problems is, was it the DOD and Big Pharma was just the manufacturers?As it is, he is going to get dumped on.
He keeps saying he saved a 100 mil lives. He is going to get blasted for that.
This issue is big because people are dying and damaged. That is not something you can blow off.
Okay, the VAX was already on the shelf. But that's not in itself an argument against the COVID response. Ivermectin and HCQ were already on the shelf, too. The difference is not the shelf, it's that the VAX doesn't effing work, and is actually harmful.
It’s more than Operation Warp Speed. DJT will take the blame for Big Pharma getting immunity from liability too. The MSM will choreograph the narrative as usual. The Dims will come to the rescue and offer federal compensation to everyone injured, real or imagined. It will be the biggest vote buy and wealth transfer ever. And the injured will get long term disability so it will be long term vote assurance for them.
The vax injuries are becoming a visible crisis and Dims never let a crisis go to waste. Trump will be toxic by Election Day 2024. The Dims know it and I think want him as the candidate.
