If you protect the contributions of workers and cut welfare payments to illegals and layabouts (who vote Democrat anyway) you’ll GAIN votes for the GOP.

That's the only way. The American people are too soft, cowardly, and corrupted to kill it or privatize it. Just look at the supposed "conservatives" on this supposedly "conservative" forum. Meanwhile, smart folks will invest as though socialist insecurity doesn't exist.
