Former President Donald Trump laid pressure on Republicans in Congress not to cut Medicare and Social Security.

Trump said the Washington bureaucrats should bear the pain of President Biden’s reckless spending on “left-wing lunacy,” not senior citizens.

I do agree that the other BS that is taken from the SS should be stopped or placed in other government programs...

Ok great, that was my only point, and I clearly never said cut payments to retirees who worked their whole lives and paid into the system. I'm talking about all these other entitlements that are hidden under the name "social security" so they don't get cut.

Trump knows this, too, he's just a big government spender. Look into his proposed plan for Reparations, which he has tried to hide under the name Platinum Plan.

Several countries have now forced people to give up their personal retirement savings in order to have access to the government retirement program.

Would you object to government raiding your 401K in order to provide sustenance to those single mothers you so care about?

Why not? And why would that be any different than raiding your Social Security contributions to give to someone else?

Obama added 8.6 trillion in 8 years. Trump raised it 6.7 trillion in 4 years. Both horrible, but percentage per year. Trump was worse.
