Disturbing footage posted online documents the moment an Ohio cop punches a woman multiple times in her face as she is being detained.
The video, which was originally posted Tuesday night by Dayton 24/7 Now, shows a Butler Township police officer pummeling Latinka Hancock on January 16 and apparently putting her in a chokehold.
Hancock was reportedly sent to the hospital in the aftermath, where she was diagnosed with a head injury.
The incident apparently came after Hancock got into a heated argument with McDonald's employees because she ordered a Big Mac with extra cheese but was handed a regular Big Mac.
Authorities released body camera footage showing Hancock apparently cooperating with authorities before they punched her.
The department will now continue to investigate the police officer's actions, who is now on administrative leave as her attorneys call for him to be fired.
A one-minute video of the altercation shows cops dragging Hancock by her arms as she tries to wrestle herself free.
She then appears to get into an argument with the officers at the scene, waving her hand around as she speaks to them.

right.....they seem to want to escalate things .....
Drugs, both prescription and street.
If she paid for extra cheese they should have been given her extra cheese. The cops should have looked at the reciept and told mcdonalds to remake her burger.Yes many blacks can be unreasonable, but imho she was in the right, both mcdonalds and the cop owe her a big payday.
Just watched the video. That cop mentally snapped under the pressure of his job...pressure thats been building for a long time. He’s going to have a nice long break. Hopefully he gets the help he needs.
video of that would be nice
Hopefully he gets a nice long break in jail.
Inmate #1: What are you in for?
Need I ask?
Oh well, the cop is FUBAR and Latinka Hancock will be ****** rich soon.
Cops definitely have a God complex. Doctors used to be the same way.
Tough crap. That’s their job. They are overly compensated for it as well. Thank god this creeper cop is off the streets.
They need to start making the cops personally pay the victims.
There are things we don’t know. One is whether or not extra cheese was on that sandwich and Latinka didn’t think so.
Why did this turn into a heated argument bad enough to call police?
Nothing justifies beating this woman in the head, Nothing justifies getting heated enough to call police over a piece of cheese.
The article says the manager agreed and ordered the crew to make her another sandwich. She says they then asked for another 30 cents. I am not sure I believe this but it is possible.
The reason I have a problem was when the woman claims at the end that she isn’t going to be another George Floyd.
The cops were really stupid but the article says at first she cooperated. What happened in reality? What did she do to all at once not cooperate that warranted the cop’s reaction.
The cop deserves to be fired but this story smells even before the cops got there.
Great officers out there.
However my job experience in the public schools is that also some kids who either were bullied or were bullies wanted to go into law enforcement.
Now the problem is how does law enforcement management identify them and weed them out in the hiring process?
They don’t.
I was in Atlanta a couple of months ago. It was like one giant add for democrats. Billboards, buses, posters all dem ads. This was in Oct
Lol, that’s not really the point.
> refused to provide her name and was arrested for resisting arrest <
In general, refusal to ID and resisting arrest are both secondary offenses. You can’t be arrested for either one without committing some other crime first.
What was her other crime? Disorderly conduct? Trespassing? Unfortunately, some cops will arrest for just a secondary offense. It’s wrong, but why should they care? Any lawsuit award won’t be coming out of their pockets.
Releasing your can of whoop ass on a Cop will lead to bad outcomes
I know. The rationale thing would have been to write off the restaurant and write the corporation and coupons. Youre right on that.
